Hello Graham,

Just a quick note to thank you for your advice on digital pianos. Given the budget available I bought the Broadway B2 on your recommendation despite my having some concern about the lack of available reviews, which I understood to be due to the recent introduction of this make to the UK. I have to say I cannot fault the decision.

The piano is delightful. It is very economic on space, sounds and performs far better than we could have imagined. My wife is relearning to play, and three daughters in their late 20’s (who at school achieved grade six before studies took over) are now enthusiastically wanting to do the same.

2) "Feels like playing a real piano, but I haven't fallen in love with it yet"

Review of Broadway B1:

It looks very good, it is quite slim and fits in well.

It doesn't seem as if the very lower register is in tune with the upper keys,
although it must be.

It will do fine for my level of skill but I haven't fallen in love with it yet.

It does feel like playing a real piano though and that's good.

I bought it from UK. The service was excellent - thank you!

Question/ Why is the Broadway B2 more expensive than the B1, yet the B1 is a better piano?

Answer/ The B2 costs more to produce because of the cabinet design. It has solid front support pillars and a large, fold-down lid as opposed to the sliding cover on the B2.

Hi Graham,

Thanks for your e-mail and your book which I have read several times
with great interest. Wouldn't it be nice to be in a position to buy a really expensive
yamaha or roland or even a classenti ? but alas i'm not.

I have been searching the internet for the best deals on a £500 - £600 piano and
thanks to your advice I think I'll go for the Broadway B2.
