Hellas PianoThis upright piano by the famous company Hellas (made in Finland) is overstrung in a rosewood modern casing. It was bought new in 1985 and we are the second owners. It has a beautiful tone and has been regularly tuned. We tried many pianos before my son finally settled on this grand instrument which took him to Grade 8 with distinction and an A in A Level music. The tone and touch of a piano has to be just right for any would- be musician from beginner onwards. The reason we are selling is that this student is now at university and because of lack of space and distance cannot take the piano with him, a good keyboard is required (which can never be a substitute for this instrument!). Also we are leaving the country. Hellas can be checked on the internet and have an excellent reputation as piano manufacturers since 1911. Once website gives Hellas a 4-star rating (top is 6 with pianos like Steinways!)
