Korg PA1X

Korg PA1X Retail Price: £2799

"Listen and Believe"

The new Korg Pa1X and Korg Pa1X Pro are the most complete tools for the musical professional ever conceived. Intuitive, powerful, interactive with the most stunning sound you will hear from an Arranger keyboard.

History

Korg's history in Acc (Arranger) keyboards started with legendary i3, a landmark in musical instruments, and then developed through many generations of successful arrangers until the most popular professional Arranger keyboard ever – the Korg Pa80. But we are musicians ourselves and knew we could do even better, so we aimed for the most powerful and easy to use musical arranger we could imagine. For this we used RX Technology. It underlies every sound, every function and every feature of the Korg Pa1X. The result is a masterpiece. So please: Listen and Believe.

TC-Helicon inside

RX Technology helped in Korg's search for the best vocal sound and processing possible. Korg know that an audience wants to hear a great voice to go with great music. Looking for the best, Korg forged links with another world class audio technology company, T.C. Electronics, to combine our audio vision with their successful vocal technologies already used in the musical and sound recording worlds.

The Korg Pa1X includes as standard the world acclaimed TC-Helicon Voice Processor featuring EQ and professional quality effects (reverb, chorus, etc.), designed and shaped specifically for vocals. These effects, combined with a dedicated high quality mic preamp, ensure your vocals have the highest quality sound possible.

The TC-Helicon Voice Processor also features voice doubling and 4 voice harmonizer. Simply connect your microphone and start to play: along with the fantastic Korg sounds you have also the world’s most respected and recognised processing for your voice – the TC-Helicon Voice Processor.

For more power and specific applications, you can add Pitch Correction and Voice Modeling upgrade options to the TC-Helicon Voice Processor. More details of these upgrade options can be found at www.korgpa.com

Easy to use

With all the technological power packed inside, it was vital that we also made the Korg Pa1X easy to understand and easy to use. But even more, Korg wanted the whole way you use the Korg Pa1X to be an intuitive, musical, fast, foolproof experience.

The new graphical user interface uses an amazing new Graphical Colour Touch Screen to help you work in a faster, easier, logical and intuitive way. The most respected professional synthesisers in the world – the Korg Trinity and Triton – pioneered the use of TouchScreen technology. Naturally, Korg based our new user interface on the feedback from some of the most successful musicians in the world and provide an advanced Graphical Colour Touch Screen.

All the power of the new Pa1X can be controlled with just one finger. Think, Point, Touch – RX Technology at work.

The controls are laid out sensibly; there is no need to search for what you need.

Switches and sliders are assignable so your live performances work the way you want them to. For one song, the sliders can be organ drawbars, for another volume controls for each part of a backing style. Nothing stands between you and your professional performance.

Trying to make something work? Check out the Contextual Help System that is standard on board! More RX Technology at your service.
