Assembly

This piano comes flat-packed. It is really easy to assemble. All you need to do is assemble the stand, then screw the main keyboard section to the stand. The electronics, keyboard, cables and pedals are all fixed in. All holes are pre-drilled. We advise two people to lift the keyboard section on to the stand. If you'd prefer us to assemble it for you then call 020 8367 2080.

Roland F-130R Reviews

1) "I preferred the feel of the Roland keyboard"

Thanks for your service, Graham. It was interesting to see the different features to look for in a piano.

I was looking for a compact digital piano, around the entry level.
The most important features were the mechanical feel of the keyboard and the look as furniture. Sound was important too, but I expected the reputable brands to all have good sound.

In the end, I was choosing between two pianos
– Roland F-130R
– Yamaha YDP-162

I preferred the feel of the Roland keyboard. The weight felt good and the fake ivory very nice. The Yamaha felt heavier.
The sound was great on both.
The Roland was more compact and more modern looking, and was also available in white.

In the end I bought the Roland, for the feel and the look.
(I was also impressed with the iPad interface for the piano that I saw on the Roland web-site, but I haven't got the wifi dongle yet)

Your Score helped me because it showed that the two instruments were very close in keyboard and sound and score.

If I were living in the UK, I would have bought from UK Pianos for sure.
I bought the piano from the a music shop, Allens, in Sydney.
– it was here
– the people were friendly and helpful

Thanks for your analysis again.

2) "The entire experience of buying a piano was made so pleasant by you and the staff"

Dear Graham,

I am not sure if you can remember me.  I attended the opening day at the Finchley shop.  Your input on that day was very much appreciated in addition to the comprehensive guide (which I had held on to over 5 years!) on 7 things to know before buying a piano.  Although I came prepared to look at all the tips on the pianos available, you saved me a whole lot of bother on the day.

This is to say that with your guidance I have bought a fabulous piano.  I have not played for nearly 20 years and playing the Roland F130R feels so much like an acoustic as I remember.  I did not think a digital could sound and feel so good.  Of course I am not a professional player but for me this one is way beyond expectations.  The F130R being so sleek and slim, it has transformed my dining room too.  All I need to do now is to retrain my brain/fingers to remember the chords etc. as I have always played by ear.  I am slowly getting there.

I would like say a huge thank you.  Your guide was so unbiased and meeting you on the day and getting first hand input from you was so special.  Hence the immediate purchase!  Jack at the shop and the lady who answered the phone were also very friendly and immensely helpful in getting the invoice sorted.  The delivery was handled extremely well too.

The entire experience of buying a piano was made so pleasant by you and the staff at your shop.

Hope the Finchley shop has got off to a great success.

Many thanks and my very best wishes to you and your Wife,

3) "Professional behaviour from UK Pianos"

I recently bought the new Roland F-130R from UK Pianos and I am pleased to say that the service was excellent.
Although the purchase was quite straightforward, and I didn't need any special attention, it is worth mentioning
a few positive points:

– when I asked about this piano, I was told that the first batch would have been delivered in approx. one month. It indeed actually happened perfectly on time
– After buying it, I asked for delivery on a specific date, and it also was accomplished punctually
– Of course, the piano arrived in perfect shape in its original packaging
– Professional behaviour from UK Pianos: no push on buying anything else, no spam, … fine trouble-free relation

I would definitely recommend UK Pianos to everybody

4) "We don't watch TV anymore"

Absolutely WONDERFUL! Went into the store, because I was in 2 minds with buying a Yamaha or Roland. The UKPIANOS staff were AMAZING. As soon as I heard the Roland F-130R- I was sold. It has a priceless sound. Delivery staff was lovely. Set it up myself (very easy). My 2 yr old son adores it, my husband has a hidden talent I never knew he had and I, well… I'm still in training. We don't watch TV anymore. It's perfect and compact and we are the envy of all our family. THANK YOU GUYS!
