Description
Yamaha’s contemporary digital piano series offers P155, which is one of its kind. The unrivaled
technology of Yamaha has made available a Clavinova CLP series piano in a lighter and portable package.
This small portable instrument has all the qualities of a Clavinova and provides utmost pleasure to the pianist. It
comes with a four level stereo and 128 notes of polyphony. The sound quality and
the quality touch of the piano correspond to the ultra professional and experienced technology that is the
signature of Yamaha. Yamaha P155 is available in three different finishes that will add a
class to your collection of music.
Few of the remarkable features of Yamaha’s P155 are laid down below for guidance and reference on
this master piece:
Four Level Stereo
• The sample voices available with the piano are recorded at four different velocity levels.
• They help the pianist to experiment with different type of music at different velocity levels.
• The increase in velocity level is perfectly blended and enhances the recreational skills of the
pianist.
Key off and Key on Feature
• The samples available with Yamaha P155 possess key off and key on feature.
• On the release of key-off key, the sound of damper felts contacting the vibrating string will be heard.
• When the key-on key is played, and the damper pedal is pressed, sympathetic string resonance effects can be
heard.
Voices
• Yamaha P155 is embedded with 17 different voices.
• These varieties of voices provide a wide opportunity to the pianist to experiment and create masterpieces of
music.
• These voices include electric bass, spacious choir, organs, strings etc.
Graded Hammer (GH) Technology
• This is a fabulous technology added by Yamaha in their range of digital pianos.
• Graded Hammer technology makes it a pleasant experience for the pianist.
• It produces the real feeling of a giant piano.
• The graded hammer technology is used to produce a heavier touch in the lower keys and a lighter touch in the
lower keys.
Dual Voice Mode
• This feature allows the pianist to layer any two voices together.
• The volumes and depths of both the voices can be adjusted to produce different effects.
• This is an excellent feature offered by Yamaha that helps the pianist to experiment with different forms of music
and bring improvement in his work.
• Dual voice mode can also be used to play two different types of music simultaneously from each hand.
Recording, Storage and Transfer of Music
• Just like Clavinova Yamaha P155 also comes with a recording feature, which is as user friendly
as always.
• The pianist can easily record the pieces of music created by them.
• Up to three songs can be recorded and stored on P155.
• The stored music can be transferred to any other device via a USB flash drive when the pianist wants to record
more than three songs.
• The pianist is just required to chose the voice and effects they desire and then record their masterpiece
easily.
Affordable price
• The Yamaha P155 is introduced with the most suitable price quotes.
• It is a wise investment that comprises of a complete package of technology.
• It is a smart and affordable musical instrument that is a product of the hard work of experienced and
professional pianists of Yamaha.

Yamaha P155 Reviews
1) "Piano touch and sound very acceptable"
Very much like lightweight nature - easy to move around - yet still sounds really good. Piano touch and
sound very acceptable. Most annoying feature was price from different sources - local and on WWW - most expensive
almost double the price.
Review by Colin, Gwynedd, Wales (15/06/2010)
2) "See my reasons to buy listed below"
I bought a Yamaha P155 in Brighton a couple of weeks ago
We tried out several options in stores but liked the combination of:
(a) mid-level (340 to 380) Clavinova touch, action, sound quality and features
(b) reassurance of Yamaha brand quality and reliability
(c) greater compactness/portabilty/flexibility of the P155 stage piano format vs a Clavinova
(d) price/value (we found a good deal online, £899)
(e) clean modern look and style (in ebony/black)
I found the UK Pianos website and documentation very helpful in comparing models of digital piano and
helping us to identify which models to think about initially and what to look for in terms of features/touch
etc.
