Reviews
“The Steinway grand sound was superb”
As an older lover of piano jazz , I was saddened when my elderly Yamaha Clavinova ,with its powerful digitised Bosendorfer sound, needed replacing. A study of UK pianos promotional information on the internet led me to enquire about the German Gewa pianos, that were based on Steinway sounds.
A quick test of the UP360 in UK piano’s Worcester piano shop, and I was convinced. A deal was done with Graham, and the piano arrived a week later. With the help of a young musician friend, after unpacking, we set up the instrument in about half an hour and plugged it in.
As I already knew, the Steinway grand sound was superb, with that subtle depth and sensitivity that suits me perfectly.

Questions
“Can I connect Bluetooth headphones to this piano?”
I was looking at this last night in more detail and just wondering if the Yamaha would be a better buy/rental?
Also I can see that my headphones will not fit this model but the GEWA UP 360 I think has a Bluetooth unit so can I connect my headphones using Bluetooth to this model?
If the UP 360 does, can you confirm payments and availability on this?
Sorry for all the questions but I plan to keep it and repay the balance if I like the play of it.
Thank you again
Rebecca
Reply/ Hi Rebecca
The Yamaha CLP675 and CLP685 are also worth
considering, but I prefer the warmer tone of
the Gewa’s Steinway sound.
The UP360G has Bluetooth audio, so yes, you
can connect your headphones using Bluetooth.
The rental is £65 per month.
We have this available in black and rosewood.
Please let me know if you would like to reserve one.
Kind regards
Graham Howard

“Gewa UP360 or an acoustic piano?”
I am at beginner/intermediate level and my wife is just learning. Current thinking is the Gewa UP360 but friends of ours keep telling us to buy a normal piano. So am dithering but reading your guide may well help me decide.
Thanks
Simon
Reply/ Dear Simon
The Gewa UP360 is a fine piano.
It has a full, rounded Steinway tone and a
responsive key touch with five dynamic levels.
It feels very close to playing on a real piano,
so you wouldn’t find it difficult to practice
on this, then transfer to an upright later.
There’s nothing that comes close to this
piano for the price.
Just let me know if you have any questions.
Kind regards
Graham Howard
James Anderson –
“Superb Steinway Concert Grand Sound!”
The postings from Graham Howard convinced me to order a Gewa UP360G rather than the Yamaha Clavinova I was considering.
The superior sound of the Steinway Concert Grand and the key feel are everything Graham promised.
I do own a Clavinova in the USA which I purchased over a decade ago.
I never used the sound effects, so I don’t miss bird whistles, etc. with the Gewa.
The other voice options (pipe organ, etc.) also produce quality sound.
An aside: Graham, my colleague hates you… She has to drag me away from the instrument
because I have been happily spending hours at the keyboard.
