Sleek and stylish design
With its streamlined appearance and light wood grain finish, the F50 Digital Piano is a statement in style. Its simple, compact design with gentle cherry wood and pearl white finish is an elegant addition to any interior. And its sleek body and compact size make it ideal for any room in your home—living room, bedroom, or den. Plus the clear acrylic music stand perfectly complements the F50’s smooth lines and form.
Superb Roland sounds
Roland incorporated its latest stereo-sampled piano and instrument sounds into the F50, for more realism and expressiveness. You can choose from 20 quality preset instrument sounds covering a variety of acoustic and electric pianos, plus organ, strings and more. Sounds can be layered on top of each other in Dual mode, or you can select among several “Split” tones to play a different sound with each hand, such as bass on the left hand and Piano or E. Piano on the right.
Natural true grand piano touch
The F50 faithfully simulates the natural feel and playing performance of an acoustic grand piano. Built with Roland’s acclaimed Compact Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard, it delivers a remarkably realistic touch. It is dynamically weighted with a lighter touch in the upper range and a heavier touch in the lower range. It also has a realistic touch resistance that provides a lighter response on pianissimo passages and a heavier response on fortissimo passages. The 88 full-sized keys even feature an adjustable key touch that can be tailored to suit your personal finger strength.
65 Internal songs and built-in recorder
The F-50 offers features that make learning to play the piano more fun and effective. Its 65 internal songs include many classical favourites that are a pleasure to listen to. There are also five special songs designed to familiarize you with specific instrument tones, such as piano, harpsichord and organ. The built-in Song Recorder is a great way to check your progress. You can record one hand and then focus on practicing the other while it plays back. The F50 is an ideal “first piano” for children or adults.
Roland F50 questions/answers and Reviews
Question/
The Roland model available here is F50. Have you any ideas about this? ( I know the number
is 50, I am unsure of the letter preceding it. Thank you.
Answer/
The Roland F50 is actually a very decent piano. It is also fairly easy to
move around due to its light weight.
I know this piano very well and it would be a good choice. You might
also consider the Roland DP970 which has a better piano action and sound.
The DP970 is a similar style and has a compact cabinet like the F50.
