Digital Piano Bible – 7 Things You Must Know

12th June 2017 By Graham Howard 5 Comments

Hi Graham

Thank you very much for being kind with your information, I got your book
and it’s nice, the investigation that you’ve done is very helpful and
wide for all of us who are just in this bussines for fun (in spite of we
all know that something happens when we play some instrument, and we feel
that we are connecting our souls with the real world…).

Hi Graham,

Thank you very much for your book is very well written and easily
understandable by people like me that have not much idea about digital pianos

Janvier

–

Hello Graham, I received your downloaded book and it was very informative. I appreciate it. It had some very good advice and I learned the difference between some of the higher priced keyboards and the midpriced. I beleive I am better off buying a mid-level than a higher priced keyboard. The sounds are basicly the same depending on what you play them through.

Thanks very much. Joe

Thank you so much for sending me the bible for digital pianos. I have read all 69 pages and you have answered every question. It will be almost as good as having you with me in the piano showroom.

Beryl

Hi Graham,

Book received safely, many thanks. Its getting late, so will mail you again when I have
had time to read it, but thanks again for the opportunity, I think it was written for
such as me!

Kind regards

Trevor

Hi Graham,

Thanks very much, got the mail and downloaded the book. It helped me to decide my purchase.
I am just a beginner, I think your book is useful and I am keeping it for future reference. 🙂

Hi Graham

Thanks for all your help re purchase of a Piano for my Grandson.
The decision was made to get the Yamaha CLP320
Due to my living 100miles away, my part was to suggest which Piano to
get and leave the actual purchase to my son, so that they could be in a
position to deal directly with any queries/problems that might arise.
I am indebted to you for all your help and the extremely comprehensive
“Digital Piano Buyers Guide you provided which allowed us to make a properly
informed decision.
I very much appreciate all of this and wish you continued success in the
future

Kind Regards

Bill T

Hi Graham.

I have appreciated your articles and the no nonsense approach to a subject that is fraught with pitfalls for the unwary

I’ve only just started researching digital pianos, and have only got through about a third of your book. But so far
I’ve found the information invaluable, things I wouldn’t have thought
of looking in to.

I can see that I’ll have to go through the book a few times before I feel comfortable going into a shop & testing
them myself. Thanks for your thorough guide,

Elisa K

–

Thanks a lot for your great article that has allowed me for having a criteria for a good buy.

Dear Graham

Thank you very much for the guide. It is very informative and it helps me
understand much more about the various characteristics of a digital piano

Hi Graham,

thank you so much for your book which I devoured in one sitting

Rosalyn

–

Hi Graham

I downloaded your guide to buying digital piano last evening and found it
very enlightening.

Thanks, Rob

–

Hi Graham,

Your book was excellent, and will be readin git again. One of those “everything you need to know but were too afraid to ask” books and it serves it’s purpose perfectly.

Steve

–

Hi Graham

I have read your book and I understand it, and its worth its weight in gold

Mark

–

Hi Graham

Thank you very much for your invaluable advice. It certainly helped to convince
my son to go for a CLP 340, instead of the V240 for which he was attracted to
the bells and whistles.
Unfortunately I am staying in the far east Asia and hence not convenient to buy
the piano from you. Nonetheless, you have been a great help to me and I want to
acknowledge that.

Thank you very much

Best wishes

Hi Graham,

your book is one of the most useful guides I’ve read so far, as
regards any product in general, not just digital pianos.

let me say that if retailers could provide the type of presentation you have done for the public, along with your follow-thru, what a wonderful new year ’11 would be.

This is a PERFECT Guide, Excellent! I need to say few words here,

I admire the fact that you offer advice to people that they may buy from other sources. After all you hold a store that you need to keep up running. Yet at many points in your book or site you prompt the readers to contact you for a variety of advices when it comes to other stores and generally questions that someone may have while dealing with a competitor.

Piano, as many other things, is an investment, whether it will cost £199 or £1999. I am referring to an emotional investment. We buy to satisfy us or loved ones. Many people, because of information plethora, get trapped daily. They get home, find a big or small box, open it in respect, get the hardware out, plug wires and connect parts and sometimes, some darn time, they end up in the middle of boxes and pieces of cellophane, looking something they should never buy. That’s just an awful feeling.

But you Graham, you do your part to help few of us, and personally, I appreciate it and thank you very much, because I was about to experience the feeling above.I am really glad there are merchants like you. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.

Thank you very much for everything, we’ll be in touch.

Axel

–

All your information was very useful and helped a lot in getting to
understand the terminology etc.

Thank you very much

Best wishes

Vicky

Good day,

I have very much appreciated your work, sir, and the fact that it is easily and free available over the internet, thank you

Dan

Read your report. Impressive piece of homework and clarified many
subjects in plain language.

Christopher

–

Hi there Graham,

I have just read your report “7 Things to Know when buying a Digital

Piano”. It was clear, concise, specific, and laden with knowledge and
obvious love of the piano – in other words EXCELLENT.

Dan

–

Dear Graham,

your manual was extremely helpful pointing us in the right direction. Since
both of our daughters are still at the beginning faze of piano lessons and
we live in the apartment we decided to by a digital piano

Sanja

Dear Graham

Thank you so much for the pdf book & superb info on your website, which I came
across purely by accident!

Hi Graham,

Thanks for all the advice you gave me.
you are the best
I received the guide.
thank you
I decided to listen to your advice: ask the music teacher.
with respect.

Dear Graham

I just wanted to say thank you for going to the extraordinary effort of writing this advice booklet.
It is absolutely outstanding. I’m not entirely sure why you have made it freely available – it really
did seem to good to be true! – but you have completely clarified everything for me and I now feel
confident to go ahead and buy my children a piano. If only there were guides like this for drum-kits!

Thank you so much.

Kind regards, Neil

–

Thanks so much for your very informative book about digital pianos.

Thanks, Robert

Graham

Many thanks for your guide, which clarified a ton of things we hadn’t even
thought about! It provided the springboard to fully explore our range of
options, and to discuss with my son’s music teacher from an informed
standpoint.

Hello Again Graham

Thank you for the piano book. I’m printing off as I speak. I have just moved house
and threw my old Roland away. 15 years old and some keys sticking, couldn’t
get it repaired so will need a new one.
It was interesting to read some of your info about the first things to test
before purchasing a new keyboard, I was looking at one of the you tube
lasses playing and you could hear a distinct plonking of the keys as they
snapped back into place as she played.
Will contact you sometime in the future will be travelling for the next few weeks.

Best Regards

Dave

–

Hi Graham,

I downloaded your book and I found it incredibly useful. In fact I am really
glad I read it as it stopped me buying something that just wouldn’t have been
suitable for my son, who is the one taking lessons. In particular I think
the comments you made on weighted keys was the key.

Thank you so much for publishing your guide, its a real credit to you.

Thanks

I had piano lessons as a 10 year old,I then turned to football so gave the lessons up.
I am now in my late 80 s and using a 61 key keyboard to learn again.
I am not quite happy with the piano sound on the keyboard, so I am looking to buy a digital piano around the 4 to 500 mark, it looks like your advice is for me.
    thank you, Harry.
